Almost three months has passed since I started the cleansing. I was accustomed to drinking the green juices. I couldn’t lose more than 9.7kg. Nothing special about the cleansing happened to me in the last one month. Now, the cleansing is a part of my every-day life. I might not return to a normal Japanese diet.
How slowly I lost my weight these days! I had to eat poorer lunch. Omid recommended me to eat only salad for lunch, but it was too hard. Then, I decided to eat a bowl of salad and Japanese wheat noodles. I was hungry as I had expected. Today, I put lots of vegetables, such as carrot, cabbage, and celery into Classic. Whatever I put into Classic, Classic was still very tasty.
Today I started the next cleansing. Omid kindly gave me many bottles of juice. Those bottles mainly consisted of three types of juice, that is, "Classic", "Citrus Wow!", and "Boost Your Immunity". And he game me a bottle of yellow juice to drink when I was really hungry. For the first time, I drank Classic for supper. Classic was very tasty! I felt this cleansing was much easier than the previous liver cleansing.
My Journey into Good Health by 3 Months of Shake Cleansing
I am a middle-aged Japanese man. I am a Scientist and I develop and research experimental facilities. I have a loving family of a wife and two kids. I had a happy life except one point.
The last week! Wow I am proud of myself. I usually never finish a diet. But now I am almost there. I feel so energized. I wake up in the morning very genki (happy and energetic in Japanese). Rice... I forgot all about it (almost). My eyes are clear, my complexion radiant and I lost 6 kg's. I don't think I want to change my lifestyle to raw food only but I do want to change my eating habits to something healthier. Like for example smoothies in the morning, then something cooked for lunch and then a raw food dinner, such as a salad, broccoli sensation or the pad Thai a la raw. During this diet I not only achieved my ideal weight but I feel different, more focused and more relaxed. I also changed my eating habits and learned a new delicious way of blending and chopping my meals (I won't say cooking!). For me it was the first time to eat such a diet and at the beginning it was challenging but then I really enjoyed it and discovered so many new recipes. I also liked the quotes at the beginning of everyday.
It is really encouraging to see positive changes with my body. I lost in total 4 kg's since I started, my skin looks great and I feel good. I like the variety of the recipes... but yes I still miss rice.
I'm craving rice. For the first week I didn't miss it but now I do. I feel really good though, so I try to stay focused on my energy level and think that if I eat rice it will all go away. Good feeling or rice? Good feeling or rice? I chose the good feeling!
Yeeee I lost 1.5 kig... I never eat raw food. I'm Japanese and we cook even the carrots that go in a salad. When Gabrielle told me about the new 31 day raw food diet plan I was excited and really wanted to try it but nervous because of the raw food part which is all of the recipes in the book...!
